General Terms and Conditions

1) All individuals who want to take a Cambridge English exam are required to agree to all of the Terms and Conditions from the University of Cambridge (see attached copy).
2) The exam centre might take a photo of the candidate on the test day. I agree for this photo to be held on the secure Cambridge Assessment: English ‘Results Verification site’ and viewed as set out below if I give my agreement. The photo shall only be available to organisations/individuals that I give my details to or that I authorise to view my result.
3) Furthermore, I agree on storage and processing of my data according to the current GDPR regulations.
4) Cancellation policy:

for digital exams
up to 10 days prior exam date / € 89,- cancellation fee
for paper-based exams
up to 46 days prior exam date / € 89,- cancellation fee

Later cancellations cannot be accepted.
The relevant effective date is when we received the cancellation.
If you cannot attend the exam for medical reasons, we can refund your exam fee (minus EUR 89,- administration fee) if a medical certificate is provided within five days after the exam date.
5) Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction is “Wien Innere Stadt”. In the case of private clients that one court which is appropriate factually and geographically.

Information about the right of withdrawal (only for distance and off-premises contracts)

You have the right to withdraw this exam registration within 14 days after your booking without any reason given.
To exert your right of withdrawal you need to inform us in written form, either by letter or by email. You may use the attached sample form, but you don’t have to. To keep the term (14 days) it is sufficient to send your information off within that time.

Consequences of your withdrawal (only for distance and off-premises contracts)
If you withdraw your exam registration, we are obliged to transfer the money (for this exam, if already received) back to you within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal. We will use the same payment method you have used paying the fee. If you have asked us to start our service(s) for you within the withdrawal-term of 14 days, we are allowed to charge you for that service in relation to the entire amount of the contract. In case the examination date falls within the 14-day period, a withdrawal is therefore only possible until the working day prior to the exam. Taking the exam is considered a request for the provision of services.
